Mie and AARTO & Police Clearance - Information.

The U.S. Consulate requires official proof of a valid, clean, and unrevoked South African driving record to ensure you are legally qualified to operate farm vehicles overseas.Thats why they need :

AARTO: (Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offenses)
• Checks for any outstanding traffic fines, legal infringements, or active warrants issued  against you.

Mie: (Managed Integrity Evaluation)
• Purpose:  The U.S. Consulate requests the MIE Driver Accident History to check your risk and safety record and confirm any reported accidents or undisclosed liabilities.
• Reason: They use this to judge your honesty and to ensure there are no unresolved legal issues, insurance fraud, or dangerous driving that could prevent you entering the United States.

WHAT REPORTS DOES AN H-2A VISA APPLICANT NEED TO OBTAIN FROM MIE? (Very Important)

1. DRIVER'S LICENSE CHECK

2. DRIVER ACCIDENT HISTORY CHECK

1.DRIVER'S LICENSE CHECK

This is the core report that replaces a direct traffic department visit. The U.S. Consulate uses it to verify your capability and legal authorization to operate heavy machinery.

What it contains: It officially extracts data from the national registry to show your license status (Valid), the license number, the exact vehicle codes you hold (e.g., Code EC / Code 14), the expiry date, and your original first-issue date (proving your years of experience

2. DRIVER ACCIDENT HISTORY CHECK
This is a separate, dedicated driving record report managed by MIE that links back to official accident registers

Why they need it?  If the report returns a clean result ("No accident history found"), it proves to the consulate and your future U.S. employer that you are a safe driver with a low-risk track record.

STEP 2:

SAPS365 - POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE

OFFICIAL CRIMINAL CHECK
A SAPS365 from CRC Pretoria is the only criminal check the US Consulate accepts — this is official and approved.
TIMING
Police File usually issues a police clearance certificate within 9 to 14 work days (excluding courier time). But we do it currently in 7-9 days.

PAYMENT
No payment is needed upfront — you pay only after you receive a reference number.

24/7 Tracking
BEST OF ALL:  --> Police File sends a WhatsApp link so you can track the whole process of your Police Clearance every second 24/7, from submission to collection.

(REAL -TIME TRACKING, FAST PCC-TRUSTED BY AGENTS AND APPLICANTS.)
